Best match for Kurt? :)

Hey I was wondering who you all thought would be the best lady friend....errr...you know what I mean ^.^ for Kurt....I mean like possible marriage material. I realize that in the comics he's tryin' to be a Priest now, and so I'm not sure what exactly that entails when it comes to the opposite sex..but...if he COULD get married, who should it be? Cerise has been a real strong interest of his in the comic, but personally I don't like her much. The only other one I can think of is Amanda Sefton, Magicienne. (I like her....) I think she's pretty good for him but I haven't read much of the older comics with her in it, so I have no idea what's going on there. Maybe somebody can fill me in? What ever happened to Kurt and Amanda?

Sooooo lemme know what you think! And this can apply to Evo, too. I will strongly tell you that I DO NOT like Kitty, especially as Kurt's girlfriend. I hope a teenage Amanda comes along or maybe someone else......just anyone but KITTY! AAAAAAARGGGGG!

OK, I'm ooooookay now. I hate Amanda. I hate her! I HATE HER!!! And now I will try to become rational enough to explain. It might help if you're familiar with that Excalibur Annual where Amanda is an idiot and frees Selene from the "spooling machine". Then Selene tries to throw Amanda in, Kurt shows up to rescue her and ends up in the machine himself. After a indetermined period of agonizing pain for Kurt, Amanda gets him out and he actually thanks her for saving his life. Hey, Kurt, have you ever wondered why Amanda won't trust your wonderful self with her icy cold heart, but she will trust evil sorceresses not to try to kill everyone starting with her?! She brings out the doormat in him. Bitch.

And I don't like the idea of Kitty and Kurt because in the Kurtty stories, she treats him just like Amanda does in the comics. He's written just as dependant, just as eager, just as pathetic. Doormat! Bitch!

Compared to them, Cerise is an angel. But I don't really like her either, mostly because of her hideous costume. (And her monstrous breasts.)

personally i think kurts fine the way he is i donno, suits him.
hes doing well enough for being blue and two toed, humm, dont get me wrong..
but it would have to be someone pretty darn impressive and i dont mean physically.

Eeeeep! o.o I apologize, Fasheem! Seems I brought up a bad topic there! LOL I did not realize Amanda had done such things, I haven't read the comics about it yet. Until I do though, I can't be sure what to think about her. So I take it you had a "sort-of" vote for Cerise....hmmm....I wonder what the others think.

Actually I used to like the idea of Kurt and Amanda together but not anymore. I think their romantic relationship has run its course and I much prefer them staying close childhood friends.

I think someone mentioned this before in an old topic, but i'd like to see Kurt fall for someone completely new and someone who's a non-Mutant. There have been a TON of instances in the comic where non-Mutant females have stated how cute and charming Kurt is...I'd really like to see him interact more with Human females!

One in particular stands out too. ( I think you'd agree with me on this SPATULA GAL! ) A Princess that Kurt single-handedly rescued from Arcade waaaaay back in Uncanny X-Men #204. I believe Judith Rassyndl was her name and there was some DEFINITE chemistry between the two. ( I'll post a pic of her later on if I can dig up the issue!) Years later in an old Excalibur bookshelf special they showed her getting married to a Prince, but she still hadnt forgotten about Nightcrtawler. (or how handsome she thought he was!)

I would thoroughly enjoy seeing them bring the Princess back into Kurts' life!

As for Evo Kurt? DITTO about seeing him hook up with a non-Mutant girl as well.
(Have her fall for him while he's 'image-induced' and then see if she still likes him after he inevitably reveals his true appearance!)

Don't worry, NG! I'm like this all the time, in other words, it's not you, it's me.

I just got that annual yesterday and since I read it at the very beginning of a 4 hour car trip, I had a loooooooooong time to think about just why it totally pissed me off. And then I thought about all the other times she's done horrible things like that, although this is definitely the worst thing she's ever done. And the way the writers always mention that she "guards her heart" and has "trust issues" or whatever and then they turn around and have her believe that if she aids the notorious villain, they won't kill her. She's done it twice that I know of, once with Selene and then again when she gave the Soulsword to her mother, Margali, who she knew was practicing black magic... Stupid, stupid, stupid!

Of course, she always manages to save the day, pulling on the limits of her meagre magical resources but, well, let's see, with Selene poor Kurt was in the body shredder for however long. (In Amanda's place, I might add.) And Margali killed some large amount of people with the Soulsword after Amanda gave it to her... 100? More? Then there was that demon Margali raised which killed more people...

I hereby nominate Daytripper (she even sounds incompetent!) to the Superhero Hall of Shame!

LOL guys! I mostly liked Cerise, except for the cantalopes, ah hell WATERMELONS, on her chest and that hidious pinkness. Ya know 'cerise' means pink! Ugh. I too was mucho pissed at Amanda after that annual.

A normal, non-mutant would be best. It would show more humans and mutants, even one as extreme as Kurt, can get along and love each other. I know many girls have the hots for Kurt, but he's never had a normal girl. They're all aliens/mutants/super-powered in some way. To me, Amanda being his foster sister always seemed to say that only a person who grew up with him, and who was used to him could be with him. As if they justified her interest in him as because they did grow up together. I think it set a bad example.

With that said, a vote for Kitty is a vote for peace...

Yeah I remember that excal annual. Gah, that was a terrible, terrible story! The truth is I'm not crazy about any of his girlfriends. Cerise was the most agreeable, but not really very interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing Judith again, but the sad truth is the regular continuity Kurt just doesn't interest me anymore. That priest crap really ruined the character. On a sex appeal scale of 1 to 10, priests are somewhere in the negative digits for me. Stupid claremont. From now on it's the 'Kiddo and hopefully the Ultimate elf for me.

I would love to see the evo Kurt have a girlfriend. Doesn't have to be Kitty, but I think they'd make a really cute couple. Now before you have a conniption Fasheem, keep in mind that those fanfics aren't really true to the characters. Kurt really isn't portrayed as a dependent wuss in the show, nor Kitty a mean ice princess, like in the fanfics. I think they could really have something, and there's no age gap to worry about.

I like your idea BAMF. It would be interesting to see how he'd react to a girl who likes his holographic appearance. You oughta mention that sometime at xfan (and soon before they go off the net) That toonscribe guy might see it.

Have to agree with ya Spatula Gal! I mean I have nothing against priests in general...I just don't think KURT makes a good one.....I like his belief in God (since I have that belief too), but being a Priest?? It totally goes against the usual charming and flirtatious nature that he has! It makes him....boring. I too like all the OTHER versions, and Evo because well he isn't even old enough yet to be a priest and hasn't shown any interest. ^^ Hope it STAYS that way....-.-;;
